Manuel, Williams is just like he is on the telly no airs and graces whatsoever, totally laid back.
Parrots a really good lad too

Not had the pleasure of meeting O’Sullivan but I always feel it’s a massive front with him. Currently he’s going way over the top with his praise of Brecel ( and other ), it’s verging on embarrasing …. probably because of what Vafei said.

Mace - You're right he is a miserable cunt, O'Sullivan is as well.

Re: World Snooker Championship
A great session from Selby this evening with a 147 thrown in for good measure. He really does know how to dig deep and grind out a result. 9-8 Brecel overnight.

Jimmy White is looking more and more odd with every appearance. Why can’t people grow old gracefully

Went to an exhibition of his last year and what a miserable cunt he was as well. Highest break of about 30, no interaction with the punters, and didn’t liven up in any way shape or form until after the ‘main show’ when he popped off to the bogs. Must have had a tummy bug, or SOMETHING ….

What a player the boy Brecel is, a pleasure to watch

There may be life after Ronnie after all …

I've watched that before and you're right it's really good. Originally it came out in 3 parts but this vid they have lumped it all altogether.

Watching this Si, there's nothing uninspiring about him, whoever wins the other semi is in for a tough match.

Re: World Snooker Championship
Yeah, Selby is an absolute grinder. Great player but it's like watching paint dry. 'Jester' is one of the most ill fitting nicknames in sport. Must be nailed on favourite to win, now.

It's a very uninspiring semi final line up though. Pity.

Re: World Snooker Championship
I'd probably side with Russ, Selby can be a bit ''methodical'' yes, but at the end of the day he is one of the greatest ever, and deserves respect for that. Seems a decent bloke too. I think he will beat Allen.

Re: World Snooker Championship
I reckon Mark Allen with beat Selby, he looks proper focused.

Please please please can the BBC stop inviting Shaun Fucking Murphy to commentate. I can’t listen to him, he’s such a fucking bellend.

He's hardly a fucking jester either

Re: World Snooker Championship
Russ, he actually does play 'snooker' but unless you are playing it, it's shit to watch...... :-)

Re: World Snooker Championship
I think Selby gets a bit of a rough ride for being boring.

It's more to do with the fact that he is very tough to beat as he doesn't give an inch. He's very patient and will gladly draw the game into a test of safety waiting for his opponent to lose their patience or slip up.

I know it can get a bit tedious but he isn't the only player that does it.

On a positive note, once he gets in amongst the balls his scoring is break building is absolutely superb.

Re: World Snooker Championship
Hopefully one of the other 3 will stop the most boring, dull, robotic, metronomic character since Steve Davis. I feel for them poor fuckers who paid for tickets and ended up having to watch him. How fucking depressing would that be, I wouldn’t be able to do it.

Manuel 10:12 Thu Apr 27
Re: World Snooker Championship
Selby will win it now, if anyone is still interested.

When Ronnie retires this sport will struggle a bit.
